WR Dez Bryant Wants To Play For The “Blue And Silver”

It’s been quite some time since wide receiver Dez Bryant took the field. But as of late, he’s been as vocal as ever about his desire to get back into the league.

Bryant took to Twitter earlier this week to voice his plea for a spot with the Dallas Cowboys, saying that if put in Witten’s 2019 role he could shine. There seems to be some merit to this argument – after all the Cowboys biggest offensive issue in 2019 was their lack of red zone efficiency, and red zone scoring is what Bryant does best.

Now, Bryant has put out his dream list of landing spots for the 2020 NFL season. The list includes three of the premier franchises in the league, and it’s not a coincidence he’s a former member of two and was reportedly once offered a contract by the others.

We can assume blue and silver is the Cowboys, Bryant’s former team where he still holds the franchise receiving touchdown record. Black and gold is his other “former” team, the New Orleans Saints, who Bryant briefly joined before suffering a season ending injury in 2018. Black and purple refers to the Baltimore Ravens, another interesting fit with dynamic quarterback Lamar Jackson.

It’s hard to project what Bryant has left in the tank at this stage in his career, but he’s certainly been putting on a workout show on Instagram.

Bryant looks fluid and explosive in these workout clips, but of course you have to remember what they are: internet workout clips.

Still, I’d be completely in on giving Bryant a chance with the Cowboys this season, especially if he was really willing to accept a reduced offensive role. A red zone attack which includes Amari Cooper, Michael Gallup, Dez Bryant, and Ezekiel Elliott is one which would be feared all around the league.

Regardless if Bryant is not his full former self.
