Dallas Cowboys Comprise 40% Of 2016’s Top Selling NFL Jerseys

Anybody who’s anybody wants to be a Dallas Cowboy. Just ask the projected number one overall pick Myles Garrett, who literally begged Jerry Jones to trade up for him in a video a few months back. Considering Garrett will likely indeed go to the Cleveland Browns his only way to be a Dallas Cowboy is to dress like one, which a lot of people have been doing lately. Of the NFL’s top selling player jerseys, four of the top 10 are members of America’s Team.

Ezekiel Elliott, Dak Prescott, Dez Bryant, and the recently extended Jason Witten all come in 2nd, 3rd, 9th, and 10th respectively on this list. 40% of the top selling jerseys in the NFL wear blue and silver.

There are those – we’ll call them the misinformed – that year after year bark that the Cowboys are no longer America’s Team. You can show all of those people this list, watch them read it, and laugh as loud as you possibly can. I officially give you permission to do so.

Dez Bryant and Jason Witten actually hold the same spots that they did a year ago on this list, and it’s incredibly unsurprising to see the popularity surrounding the rookie tandem of Dak Prescott and Ezekiel Elliott. These two were the story of the NFL in 2016, only to be outdone by number one on this list – Super Bowl LI MVP Tom Brady of the New England Patriots.

There are seemingly nothing but good vibes surrounding the Dallas Cowboys these days. The Tony Romo Saga is officially over, we’ll still get to see him on Sundays throughout the season, and America’s Team is beloved. With the NFL Draft almost two weeks away hopefully this good momentum keeps on going as the Cowboys look to add a player who will hopefully join Zeke, Dak, Dez, and Witten on this list a year from now.
